This appearance by robot dancing and music duo Fototstat was on the UK's premier music chart show, TOTP, in early 1982. I expect that the elusive Kraftwerk couldn't make it to the studio, so Fotostat took their place...much more interesting to watch than Kraftwerk anyway! :-)
