Immediately following "Yearnin' Burnin'" on the album "Special Things" is this hard-core cut featuring the late Bruce Carter on drums, Douglas Lewis on lead guitar, and the the ultra talented Nathanial Phillips on bass guitar. According to the inside sleeve of Pleasure's album, "Law of the Raw" was written by band members, Douglas Lewis and Michael Hepburn. Prior to joining Pleasure, Douglas Lewis played with the Portland-based band, "Slickaphonics." Bruce Carter (d. 12th August 2006) was one of the greatest drummers ever and, after Pleasure dissolved, played many years with Kenny Gorelick. I saw him perform once and there were broken drumsticks everywhere!!! Nathanial Phillips, an amazing basist, continues to play with Jeff Lorber and other venues.

Feb 11, 2010 - R.I.P to the BADDEST RnB drummer that played the game, Bruce Carter! Never have I seen any drummer with a serious pocket, and grooves so funky, and posess such wicked fusion chops! Gerald, Marvin, and all the other RnB drummers in the game, I give you MAD props to you, but remember this. Bruce did it first!
