Nov 22, 2008 - I have also have a raynox 6600 wide angle lens attached. The outer radius of the wide angle lens is 77mm (i think). It fits like a charm.

Nov 22, 2008 - Thanx for this! Im getting one - I have just one question, is there space on the inner side of the hood for screwing 72mm filters? Because Im using a UV/polarizing one and if I mount the hood on top of it it will probably rotate :)

Nov 22, 2008 - If I adjust mine right I can fit my lens cap on. So I assume you could put a filter on as well.

Nov 22, 2008 - is this the Raynox 6600 with the 52mm thread?
littleims10 Says:
Nov 22, 2008 - I have the 58mm version. It still has the same 72mm thread on the larger side though.

Nov 22, 2008 - Do you feel the 58mm version is better than the 52mm version on the HV30? I read on one of the forums that maybe the 58mm reveals less distortion than the 52mm on the outer edges of the image.
littleims10 Says:
Nov 22, 2008 - Well I've never used the 52mm version but I have not been able to see any distortion with the 58mm version. It is a great lens.

Nov 22, 2008 - How does it attach? You also need a wideangle lens or step-up rings or what?
