Nov 22, 2008 - It's great that you have such a good relationship with the birth parents. It makes the process so much easier! We didn't have such a relationship and it got sticky for awhile with different custody hearings and such. Keep your chin up, the big day is almost here and then all the fun and real stress begins :o)

Nov 22, 2008 - I'm sorry to hear about the relationship difficulties with the birthmom. It sounds like your adoption worked out. I'm sure there will be good times and challenging times for us too. But it feels like we're building enough of a connections to weather the bad times too.
