Beautiful car! Notice the unique two tone pattern...a charcoal and silver scheme, with painted pinstripes and Pontiac logos! A nice green interior...a nice change from the usual!

Feb 7, 2010 - I think buying a GTO like this, would be a good investment! Especially since now, Pontiac is no longer in business!

Feb 7, 2010 - Interesting point, Randall! The owner chose to have identification painted on...but the real determiner would be the VIN. Also Pontiac used to authenticate individual cars. Whatever it is, LeMans or GTO, it has been modified, that's for sure. Thanks! :) Jack

Feb 7, 2010 - I think so too, Joe! It would be no stretch for me, since I always liked GTO's. And they have a strong collector base! Thanks! :) Jack

Feb 8, 2010 - Hey, John! I miss the choice of interiors....that could be a new venture for the car companies...introduce some real choice again! GTO's have always been a favorite of mine! Thanks! :) Jack

Feb 11, 2010 - This is a really smooth looking car. I take it that it is more or less standard? It almost looks like a custom decluttering job. I find the lack of choice in car interior colours really boring these days. All you seem to get is black, charcoal or dark grey. At first I thought that this is a car I used to have a Mattel Sizzlers model of, but I remember now it was a Trans Am instead. Similar front end. I guess the Trans Am used the Camaro body and would be bigger than this?

Feb 15, 2010 - Hey, Mick! It is indeed slick looking, and the result of a custom paint job and removal of some trim. But it keeps the spirit of the car. The Trans Am and Camaro twins were about the same size as these cars..indeed, the original Camaro was based on the Nova. Thanks! :) Jack
