Dec 5, 2008 - i think most of the tone and sounds you are getting are coming from the line 6 amp. I mean if you demo a guitar you shouldn't play it with an amp that was designed to sound like other famous tones

Dec 5, 2008 - so what your telling me is, when you hear, gretsch guitar, you think of fuckin jeff beck?? the answer is no dude, you think of fist pumpin, foot stompin, malcolm young.
TheFrozenLads Says:
Dec 5, 2008 - actually i think of one of three people usually--malcolm, george harrison, and rory gallagher. what i'm saying is that malcolm is one of the most well known gretsch users. he's just among many many others. brian setzer has always used a gretcsh. chet atkins has (actually had--dead now) his own models. plus, you have to remember that you and i are just two people. there are other people who wouldn't even think of malcolm.

Dec 5, 2008 - This was supposed to be gretsch's answer tovthe gibson les paul junior...apparently didnt work out too well this guitar only stayed around for a couple years from about '61 to maybe '64. The first one had a peppermint twist finish...you guys have to see the gretsch princess which is supposed to be the 'female' model of this...its pretty awesome actually even more rare too.
