ktorch Says:

Dec 5, 2008 - What do you do in your day job, sell used cars?

Neeboopsh Says:

Dec 5, 2008 - other than being a bloomin' wanker (or whatever nomenclature is commonly used in australia), dechha is a smart dude and has a nice package.

LibertyIsNotGiven Says:

Dec 5, 2008 - Gotta love how he had to dress in his spiffy scientist coat just to go on camera and speak authoritatively about things he has no knowledge of. It's all about image, baby."Hi, I'm a chemist, and I'm here to talk about biology and geology. What? Credentials? Er ... like my coat?"

Saukko31 Says:

Dec 5, 2008 - 9500 years old tree has been found in Sweden. (I guess global flood missed Sweden)

Atriviality Says:

Dec 5, 2008 - There are 11000 year old towns, and 7000 year old cities. I guess they were missed by the flood too.

uni4dfx Says:

Dec 5, 2008 - 50% of layers are missing in grand canyon? I have no clue about geology but I smell bullshit. Can anyone explain what he meant?

Brianswers Says:

Dec 5, 2008 - I'm not a geologist but I smell the same thing you do. The only explanation I can think of is that the upper layers were eroded. Even that doesnt add up to 50%. It's nonsense IMO

Brianswers Says:

Dec 5, 2008 - I'm doubting his credentials as a chemist at this point. He thinks chemicals bond (aboigenesis) by accident?

JohnTraviss Says:

Dec 5, 2008 - Satan made the build dams. lol

Ulfbarnen Says:

Dec 5, 2008 - Don't worry. He doesn't specify what he means by that. So he knows he's pulling things out of his ass.

hellshade2 Says:

Dec 5, 2008 - indeed, this is the most ridiculous thing these creationist nutjobs do. what does a chemist know about biology, archaeology and paleantology? answer? nothing!

happyjesus123 Says:

Dec 5, 2008 - I love Jesus and his little fucktards as much as the next comedian, but I think mentioning Bristle Cone pines was a mistake. The date Answers in Genesis is using for the flood is 4,285 bp (before present) and the oldest living pine is 4,789 bp. So their God sucks at floods. The value of bristle cone dendrochronology is that the living rings can be linked with dead trees giving a detailed 9k chronology. More info on dendrochronology: webDOTutkDOTedu/~grissino/

Fernoe Says:

Dec 5, 2008 - apparently the grand canyon only has two layers of rock, which have fossils that are only consistent with 2 ages in history. Supposedly this proves that there used to be one layer and somehow the other layer ended up on top of it. Creationists say it's because of he global flood, which completely contradicts the fact that there are thousands of other places on earth which have more than 2 layers.

windham666 Says:

Dec 5, 2008 - mr dechha i alway luv yer movies but could you please turn up the volume a little on your speaking parts? i'm a real old geezer, 107 years, and several decades of ozzy and slayer and pantera are making it hard for me to hear your lovely message..... i would not say anything except it is driving me nuts to so clearly hear the message from the dentist.

kalsolarUK Says:

Dec 5, 2008 - I have to admire you for sitting through the whole of that guys presentation. The ill fitting never-worn-before white lab coat made me think he'd be better off in a washing powder commercial.

FreePrometheus Says:

Dec 5, 2008 - This whole Mississippi Delta "could have" been formed in 6 to 10 thousand years. They didn't take into consideration that there had been a world wide flood. "Maybe" half that Delta "could have" come down in the last 100 years "or so.". It indicates a young earth.Speculative, no proof, not science.

dechha1981 Says:

Dec 5, 2008 - Last time someone complained that it was TOO loud.

windham666 Says:

Dec 5, 2008 - what! are they crazy! hahahaha you can't win dechha just don't stop.

happyjesus123 Says:

Dec 5, 2008 - Layers are generally missing from geological sections. This is because they were never deposited during a period or have been eroded away. One feature of the Grand Canyon which is particularly interesting is the "Great Unconformity". In which beds have been tilted through geological processes and and then eroded. 3dparksDOTwrDOTusgsDOTgov/coloradoplateau/grandcanyon_strat.htm

ThetaOmega Says:

Dec 5, 2008 - I'm morbidly obese now thanks to you, and Dr Pendleton.

Erech01 Says:

Dec 5, 2008 - the thing is, getting a chemist to criticise geology isnt creditable:P if they got a geologist or a palaentologist to criticise the geological timescale, then i would listen!!:p funny how most 'creation scientists' are only qualified in feilds like food nutrition, there are only afew 'creation scientists' who have degrees remotly related to the feild they are criticising

RyuDarragh Says:

Dec 5, 2008 - Hey, the US is backwards and nonstandardized in nuclear power because they listened to the experts. Of course, what no one mentioned or took credible notice of, was that these "experts" were psychologists and architects.

frogsquirr3l Says:

Dec 5, 2008 - a chemist could criticise the isotope method used to meassure the age of the earth.- but he is just ridiculous.

frogsquirr3l Says:

Dec 5, 2008 - a chemist may criticise the isotope method to messure the age of the earth- but that guy is just ridiculous. there's a "list of long-living organisms" on wikipedia.

sweetsweatyfeet Says:

Dec 5, 2008 - For someone to go out of his way to disprove bodies of acquired scientific knowledge scrupulously researched and tested over time in order to rationalize the jottings in an ancient book with no foundation or corroborating evidence takes a special kind of moron. If he IS an actual scientist (I have a hard time believing this) he should feel truly embarrassed.
