A couple of new updates to my Gaming computer, the last video of which surpassed 10,000 hits! I've done some more modding, including painting the insides of the Chassis flat black. Also new is a Tt iBox storage tray, a Scythe KamaBay in the front modified with an LED fan and the "Tri-Blade" fan grille. A 1.44mb Floppy from 1992 is shadow-mounted behind the front bezel, with a new Antec TriCool fan in the lower front. Also new are my brand new Radeon HD4850's in crossfire, mounted with Tt Du-Orb fans. (hope the blue doesn't clash too much, I wish Tt had Red or Green ones) Two 80gb Seagates run in RAID 0 for a high performance 160gb drive, and a dual boot of Windows XP Pro and Vista Ultimate x64. And to answer what is probably my most answered question... The light kits have sound sensitive inverter modules - thats why they bump to the beat.Specs:AMD Phenom 9600 Quad-Core(2.3GHz Stock, OCd to 2.5GHz)Zalman CNPS9500 CPU FanMSI K9A2 CF-F Motherboard2x Sapphire Radeon HD4850 Cards w-Tt Du-Orb fans - in Crossfire.2GB (2x1GB) OCZ Platinum Rev.2 DDR2-800 RAM2x80gb Seagate 7200.9 HDDs in RAID 020x LG SATA DVDRW600w Ultra V-Series SLI PSUCooler Master LED Fans and Green Dual CCFL Kit.A.C.Ryan Green/Orange 92mm UV FanLogisys 15" UV CCFLVantec Orange Sleeving.Sunbeam "3D Blade" Fan Grills (120mm and 92mm)Music - Bodyrox - Yeah Yeah (D. Dec 5, 2008 - only a 600w on crossfire, seems a tad low if you ask me, i would be going upto 1000 watts for any dual card setups

Dec 5, 2008 - It's been running fine for a while now on a 600w supply, HD4850's are suprisingly efficient. It's only really 3-4 card setups or 8800GTX/GTX2x0 setups that need that much juice. Though a new PSU is one of the next things on my upgrade list, behind a new monitor. An Enermax Galaxy 1000 wouldn't fit in an Armor Jr anyway. :P

Dec 5, 2008 - i was just thinking with the 4850s using around 240 watts each at load, combined with the cpu and you are running a lot of cold lamps, unless they are running a seperate power source i would have thought you would be getting mighty close to the limits of the 600w, im building a new pc shortly and im planning on using a 650 watt for just one 4870

Dec 5, 2008 - HD4850 only consumes in the ballpark of 125-140w of power each. The GTX280 is rated for 240w and HD4870X2 draws 270w. (HD4850X2 probably does 240w)Though if you're building new from scratch, I'd suggest spending the extra and getting a Quad-SLI/Crossfire 750-850 PSU (Enermax Liberty 850?) and a Crossfire motherboard - so you can toss in an extra 4870 later. You might spend 50$ more for an expandable set. I would have done Dual 4870's but I didn't want to replace the PSU. :P

Dec 5, 2008 - yea im building from scratch, going with intels q6600 and overclocking it to 3ghz, 4gb corsair dominator 1066mhz, 650watt antec neopower and the one 4870 for now, later on when the prices on the 4870 drop down im planning on going crossfire, was one of my first priorities to get a crossfire mobo, will need a new psu then but my current budget only allows for the 650 watt

Dec 5, 2008 - Very nice setup. Close to me, Phenom 9500. The 4850s are beast aren't they? My have been going great.

Dec 5, 2008 - did you make that case can you give me tips on modding a case or making it look any better besides cathodes and fans.i have an ultra wizard with a clear uv blue side panel. oh and ati says you need a 550watt minimum for crossfire of 4850s so you are 50 watts above that, but be careful since you have so many fans like the thermaltake duorbs

Dec 5, 2008 - oh sorry i didnt see it was a thermeltake armor
