I recall when I was much younger my sisters and their friends always spent hours in front of the bathroom mirror to get all decked out for a friends party or go out. Being gay I also fussed over my hair and I wore "some" mens makeup. I used to have my hair layered and feathered LOL Im showing my age by saying this but back in the roaring 80's it was a big To Do for me to look just right. Some saw that as shallow but I didn't see it that way. I was only expressing myself.
