Dec 3, 2008 - My daughter once dressed as " Henry The Octopus"i went to Walmart & bought purple& yellow plad fabric,a couple pairs of knee high stalkings, pillow stuffing,elastic bands, purple fabric and a small straw hat.I then cut and sewed/made not only her top and pants, i made a purple mask with a cut out for her face to see thru & stuffed the 4 knee highs with stuffing and made leggings 4 them, she had black boots and the extras had black socks,it in total cost about $15 it got alot of compliments!

Dec 3, 2008 - I think I spent all of $.28 (yes 28 cents) on the cutest spider costume. 3 kids used it. We took a pair of black sweatpants & sweatshirt that we already owned and stuffed some tights to about the same size as the arms and sewed them onto the body of the sweatshirt, and attached them with string to the wrists of the sweatshirt. Then I used the $.28 piece of red felt and made the black widow shape on the chest. Add black gloves & a "mascara" covered nose. I've got a pic if anyone's interested.
