I'm curious if this is a glitch but it appears that when you walk toward the wall at the position where I am in the video (this works at some other places too, like near small doors in dungeons) I don't take any damage and still can kill enemies. Basically I could just tape the left d-pad button on my wiimote and let the Nintendo Wii run during the entire night to max out my char level in the basement full of monsters in the first village house. I can get to 65535 gold within one or two hours this way.
