Dec 1, 2008 - GalaBiR here on youtube has a lot of sovjet videos, one of them is "hound of baskervilles". I believe that vasily livanov plays the main part as sherlock holmes , you should check it out.

Dec 1, 2008 - House's method of deduction is a tad different, but I totally get where you see the similarity.
DemiShinigami Says:
Dec 1, 2008 - Yes yes, figuring out how Holmes knew about the South African business good and well but what the hell was Watson's check book doing locked in Holmes' drawer?((Great vid. Thanks for posting.))
DermochelysCoriacea Says:
Dec 1, 2008 - Interesting, could you briefly characterise each of their methods?
shrewdsjester1 Says:
Dec 1, 2008 - House and his friend Dr. Wilson were inspired by Holmes and Dr. Watson :) So you will see quite a few similarities in the characters think

Dec 1, 2008 - Good observation, but i think there are some ways to explain it.. one is that there is only one drawer and only one key. But of course this is a guess (not deduction..).
DemiShinigami Says:
Dec 1, 2008 - Why thank you. That's just the sort of thing that catches my attention and annoys me for a bit.

Dec 1, 2008 - hahahaha! I absolutely love the way his reasoning skill works! he made watson look like a complete fool at the end!
dwayne2282 Says:
Dec 1, 2008 - Do you think someone can train there skill of deductive reasoning like that or is that an overkill? because if u could i would pay to learn. lol
pimpindark7 Says:
Dec 1, 2008 - i have yet to really find a sherlock holmes rendition that seems that good. They all seem like made for tv type deals but never a serious movie.I would love to see a full on production of Holmes because i think it sets itself up for great shots and a gritty overall feel.
