I once thought that it would be much smaller in scale compared with the Olympic, but it surprised, as the opening ceremony was very amazing! I hope all the athletes will enjoy and perform well in the competition! As a Chinese, I feel proud for both events!

Dec 1, 2008 - I also thought the opening ceremony for the paralympic were amazing. Perhaps better than the olympic opening ceremony in some ways. And remember how they lit the flame. Truly touching! No matter what, these two openings are gonna out perform London's in 2012. BTW, is there a HD copy available online yet?

Dec 1, 2008 - The little ballerina was buried under the rubble for 70 hours. Gosh, when she came out, she looked so weak and exhausted. The first words from her were "am I brave?" She sure is and she is very beautiful. The whole world is raving about her now. I hope she gets to do choreography and learn to play an instrument as she said. I also love the frog dance by the children. They look soooo cute and did well to stand on their heads.
