These are some photos from the summer of 2003 when I took my eleven-year-old nephew to the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, KY. We also toured the Corvette assembly plant which is located nearby. During the factory tour, at the end of the assembly line where the new Vettes are started for the first time, my nephew was selected from the tour group to be the first person to start a newly-made C5. He was given a certificate to commemorate the event. (Shortly after our visit they stopped doing this because of union regulations and liability concerns.)

Dec 1, 2008 - Congrats on getting one of the new ZR-1s. What a car!I want to try to get back up there and see the C6 production, plus the museum is continually changing their exhibits, too. I'm sure you will enjoy it.
