Using the Lee Factory Crimp DieThis is how I use the Lee Factory Crimp Die, not everyone does it this way.I go until I feel some resistance, when I feel like there is enough of a crimp I stop.I have tested my light crimp on the case and bullets by pulling a few bullets, and I am confident in the amount of crimp I am using.Too much crimp will not help a thing.A consistent crimp will add to shot to shot consistency.
