SSTV video in Martin 1 format received in NJ from the International Space Station on Sunday October 12, 2008. This image was received on a frequency of 145.800 MHz, decoded using QSSTV software, and shows an image of ISS Expedition 17 Commander, Sergei Volkov. Several signal fades due to polarization changes occurred during reception of this image.Audio recording and image dissection was performed using Linux-based software of my own design. MPEG encoding was performed using MEncoder.
