CQBnig Says:

Aug 27, 2008 - uhh... birds dont use guns

SHUNT311 Says:

Aug 27, 2008 - buckshot has stoping power but birdshot would turn someone into hamburger. i choose birdshot because it covers more area than buck and a slug

SHUNT311 Says:

Aug 27, 2008 - ya, your 2 fist would get you killed if someone broke in with a knife or gun.

karltonstephenson Says:

Aug 27, 2008 - that is fuck right

starfox4life Says:

Aug 27, 2008 - I have heard the reason they use birdshot is that it is less likly to go through walls in your house and injure your family mambers. I think either way, they are going to be sorry once they hear the pump of a shotgun.

JoeysTheMan54 Says:

Aug 27, 2008 - Nice! I use 000 Buckshot in my 12ga. 10 pellets that are 9mm a piece and moving about 1500fps. Noone would stand a chance.Hopefully noone will have to feel that wrath.

mycatisromeo Says:

Aug 27, 2008 - until we actually compare how each shot affects a human from close range through testing, it is only speculation. bird shot at close range would be very messy and spread very wide. Your 8 year old son could aim in the general direction and turn somebody into mincemeat. Overall, the birdshot would make the intruder wish he was never alive - it'd be very bloody, and the buckshot would kill him on spot- you'd go to jail. Legally, you can't kill an intruder in your house unless they have a gun.

ExperimentalArmy Says:

Aug 27, 2008 - I have a riot shotgun that fires 3 inch magnum shells.

ExperimentalArmy Says:

Aug 27, 2008 - the kinds of rounds I use, are the 3 inch slug rounds BTW

carpenterlcc121791 Says:

Aug 27, 2008 - I use the 3 1/2 magnum rounds. 18 pellets of 00 buck.

wetend123 Says:

Aug 27, 2008 - thats a good way of exsplaning it :)

stereonut001 Says:

Aug 27, 2008 - fuck yea!

bishopkrew Says:

Aug 27, 2008 - ya but let me shot u in the face with a bird shot you'll die and if u get hit you'll be down so shot your self in the face and comment back

vampike Says:

Aug 27, 2008 - depending on the state you're in. here in texas i can and will shoot an intruder, regardless of weather he/she has a firearm.

Gogeta4X Says:

Aug 27, 2008 - LOL, great vid bro. I have 00 Buckshot 12 pellets and 1 oz slugs in my 870.

rugged74 Says:

Aug 27, 2008 - I would use 00 buck with a semi-auto shotgun. One shot should do, but there's more incase there are multiple intruders.

fastwagon2 Says:

Aug 27, 2008 - Overpenetration is a major concern with slugs and buckshot though, don't want to kill your neighbors too ;)besides, #6 shot at close range can be quite convincing

ValanceElectron Says:

Aug 27, 2008 - Depending on how close you are to your target, one shot with bird shot would have a devastating effect, buckshot would definitely damage internal organs, good vid BTW!

AmokBR Says:

Aug 27, 2008 - So they each have their own energy, what's your point? If it were just a question of energy it probably wouldn't make a difference if you used buckshot or birdshot as long as all pellets hit the target.

Migs4000 Says:

Aug 27, 2008 - anyone who says they would rather use birdshot then buckshot is an idiot...buckshot has much greater penetration than birdshot, which can usually be stopped by hard tissues and bones...people have been shot in the face with birdshot and left the hospital the next day.

hog1016 Says:

Aug 27, 2008 - 3 1/2 2 oz. 5 shot Turkey loads will do the job. Bird shot would be extremely effective at indoor range, 5 yards or less.

ezzyfuzzmann Says:

Aug 27, 2008 - work on your english before commenting shit head

Spaxel90 Says:

Aug 27, 2008 - the arguement between bird and buck for HD is a bit moot. If i was in a home defense situation,(touch wood i havent yet), then i certainly wouldnt rely on one round of anything to do the job. And i dont know many people who could take 2 shells of #6 at 5 yards and live to talk about it. Its like 9mm vs .45, sure .45 will do it better, but both will stop the attacker with the proper shot placement and number of rounds.

trvmcintosh Says:

Aug 27, 2008 - is there 20ga 00buckshot? and if so would it be a bad idea to use it in a choked barrel?(prechoked so it cant be taken out) someone tell me plz i wanna know before i shoot
