Jan 8, 2009 - yeah you need one of digidesigns audio interfaces or MAudio interfaces compatible with Pro-tools LE for the software to work. You might be able to pick up and old Mbox second hand. I'm currently running 7.4 with my old Mbox. might want to double check about MBox & 8 though.

Jan 8, 2009 - When you're recording and for playback, what should the monitor level be set at to hear a normal volume? Because if you have the monitor turned down and the headphone turned up then you will be incorrectly hearing the actual sound.
